ECCLESIASTES 8:15~
"Then I commended mirth, because a man hath no better thing under the sun, than to eat, and to drink, and to be merry: for that shall abide with him of his labour the days of his life, which God giveth him under the sun. " (KJV)
"So I recommend having fun, because there is nothing better for people in this world than to eat, drink, and enjoy life. That way they will experience some happiness along with all the hard work God gives them under the sun." (NLT )
"So I commend the enjoyment of life, because nothing is better for a man under the sun than to eat and drink and be glad. Then joy will accompany him in his work all the days of the life God has given him under the sun. " (NIV )

Well, there you have it...from four different versions of the Bible! This holiday season, make sure you take a break from all the hustle and bustle of shopping, wrapping, cooking, cleaning, and other preparations to RELAX...eat, drink, and be merry! Take joy in the real gifts God has showered us with and ENJOY each one!
